Private club on the Newport River in Morehead City. It was incorporated in 1949 as Enchanting Waters Country Club, and its course was ready for play in 1952. The par-72 layout was overhauled by architect Tim Cate in 1998-99 and renovated again under Randy Wilson in 2017. It has an unusual par sequence with back-to-back par 5s at holes 5 and 6 and three par 5s and three par 3s on the back nine. The club has hosted the Seafood Golf Tournament, a long-running amateur event, since 1967.
